  1. As a makeup remover/Cleanser

Combine a teaspoon of coconut milk with a teaspoon of olive oil and mix thoroughly. Apply this to your face at night to instantly remove your makeup and moisturise your skin at the same time.

  1. As an exfoliator

Take 2 tablespoons of ground oats and add about 1 tbsp of coconut milk (or as much as it takes to make the consistency pasty). Apply this paste on your face and neck in gentle circles. This is a great exfoliator if you have sensitive skin.

  1. As a moisturising face pack

Take 2 tbsp of ground flax seed and mix with 1 tbsp coconut milk. Add to this another tbsp of honey. Let the mixture stand for about 15 minutes and then apply to the skin. Allow it to dry, then wash it off.

  1. As a skin brightening face pack

To 2 tbsp of coconut milk, add 2 tbsp of sandalwood powder (buy from Amazon here or here) and a teaspoon of turmeric. Add some more coconut milk if required to get a paste-y consistency. Leave this on the skin until dry and then wash off.

  1. To Treat Sunburns

Make a mixture of coconut milk and aloe vera gel (only use this kind of pure aloe vera gel) in a 2:1 ratio and apply it to any sunburned areas on your skin. Coconut milk nourishes and heals skin from within.
